ARCH 130 PORTFOLIO

This project was the fianl portfolio that covered Spring Quarter 2009. Each image below, is really two pages that made up a 30 page booklet. So, imagine it more flipping through it, rather than each image as a single entity. Also, if you find it hard to folow or read, its written as though there are three people talking about each project (multiple personalities); it was more to represent different parts of my own character. I didn't want to tell just a story so professionally, I wanted to keep it funky fresh.

Architectural Theory Project

So this was a really fun assignment where I had to research many different well-known architects (plus one faculty member of SoA at LaTech) and make trading cards for each person. All images here are in pairs (one front of the card, one back) and they list the date of birth/death, some of the more famous projects each person has accomplished, and what that architect's motto or theory for their work is.

Drafting Assignment for ARCH 211

This drawing was for my Architectural History class. We had to learn about different types of Greek temples, be able to label each part, and know the column orders through and through. If you would like to see this drawing in full size, click HERE.

Studio Project for ARCH 215

Picture
This project was created over the first half of my fall quarter in 2009. The drawing above was hand-drafted first, then color was added in photoshop to add dimension to the drawing. The next picture is just an overall presentation board of the model and what it represents. I could go on for days about this thing, but I'll keep that reserved for those who are really interested in knowing more about my projects and what they're about. Also, futher down are more pictures of the physical model that I took.

ARCH 215 Studio Final Project

After our trip to Houston, we were given an assignment of designing a museum that housed four specific pieces of artwork. We did research on each piece (two sculptures, two paintings) and derived some kind of concept through the art, the given site, or maybe even both. I used the site as my inspiration pretty much. This is the final presentation board.
